    Amazing set of photos - and good quality photos as well


    The Silver wire attached to the MG 15 ? is that air pressure for the MG ? ( due to dual Ammo Drums ?)

    I wonder if it just forces air through the breech to help keep the barrel cool? If the MG15 is an open-bolt design that might be reason for it?

    Looks more like a part of a fume extractor system to me. To keep gun smoke from filling the compartment when the gun is fired.
