Why does the CV90 carry branches to its sides?

(Sorry for the bad quality. I took the pics as we was marching by.)

So, 2 Stripbv90(C2, no 40mm gun) and one Strf9040(40mm gun). Difficult for an untrained eye to see. So what is the CV9040 used for by LedR?? Have been talks before to equip the close protection platoons with 9040's, but this one seems to be a part of the FCP. Well, I guess it's just there to ad some firepower if it belong to the FCP. The Bde CO want's some punch

BTW, Brunna is at Härads just outside Strängnäs.

BTW2, the branches is used to stick under the camouflage so it looks more "bushy".

There are probably starting to be plenty of CV90 to go around given the present and future cuts

So when surfing a russian picture thread i found something strange. A warship, think its was a Krivak fregat, had pictures of different fighters painted on the superstructre. And if my eye aint mistaking, one of them is a Saab 37 Viggen. Any idea why this is?

Painted on there to remind the Soviets what pure bad-assness looks like I suppose

Could have something to do with a hazy memory of mine of a SH37 lost during maritime patrol over the baltic sea. If my memory is right one crashed while on an elint mission against some soviet naval ships and it caused some political hassles.
Done some googling about it but can't find anything to support that memory of mine though.

Edit: found it. Straight out of google translate

    AJSH 37908 Lost
A rotation AJSH / AJSF 37 out of F15 conducted October 16, 1996 a reconnaissance exercise to a Russian ship convoy in the eastern Baltic Sea. When the rote for the identification of the cruiser Pyotr Velikiy passed port on the ship at an altitude of about 200m announced rotating head contact with an aircraft type to Be 12 "Mail" on the vessel over a low left turn. Rotating Head stated that he intended to pass under the aircraft and began a downward right turn.Wingman then switched to the left flank and when he was a few seconds later regained contact with the rotehead collided with his water about 200 meters to the left and 200 meters of the vessel at. 13:45 in a position about 120 km SE of Gotland.

The study shows that the driver probably lost their height references and came down at such low altitude that he collided with the sea surface. Participants of the accident was probably the first, hazy weather with blurred horizon, and the driver's attention can be split between the emergence Ask 12: an and cruiser.

Serious international incident indeed which immediately increased war readiness here, live weapons mounted on aircrafts etc. They did not know if the crash was the result of enemy fire. From what I read they found no signs of it but could not rule out the use of laser, which spurred some modifications.

Likely why I remembered it, I was just out of my compulsory sevice back home when it happened. Graduated ,"muckade", in April that year from one of the Nordic Brigades as an infantry squadleader.

I ask my self who the fu** accept those people in the army ?? I wouldn't like that I'm Swede and to be in scenario that for example Russia attack Sweden and those "soldiers" must defend our land...anway...It's disrespect to Swedish army,I know people like those work in many other armies in the world and I must say that people like that makes me crazy ,I really hate undisciplined and stupid sense of humor, people who behave like little kids....If I will be commander of some battalion I swear that I will make robots of my soldiers, every cretinism like in this video will be strict punishment and for any such nonsense fools I will spew out of the army...I'm really sick of people like that, but unfortunately in the Croatian army there are certainly the same fools like those Swedes...and that's the reason why I wan't to change it one day,and I will!
And then we ask ourself why NATO loses battles against Talibans in Afghanistan...what to expect of people like this ?? they can play war only in kindergarten....cccccc......

    btw,what's this ??
