so are the Swedish marines the same as the kustejaeger (sp)?
Kustjägare is our pathfinders, recon guys. The rest are "normal" Infantry, supply, boat crew, command and control

When ever I see pictures like this, I always think of Pashtun tribesman up on the high ground either sneaking and peering (with the infamous 'Afghan scowl/stare') or firing on Anglo-Indian armies that marched below. Then I'm thinking where is your overwatch, support by fire position...?
Although still dangerous, having UAS or Recon/Attack aviation above (... if available, lol) is comforting.

He said it wasn't too bad. Apparently the media had run some stories on it just before so it was toned down. He had heard it was pretty bad before though. I does sound pretty gross though.
