    Can someone give me a list of what military vehicle (tank, apc), attack helicopter, and assault rifle does Vietnam have? Just out of curiosity.

    I don't know why our MoD wants to buy this riffle. It is a version on Ak-47,optimized for arid condition. It, therefore is not optimized for VN condition.
    Ak-47 and its newer versions (Ak-103) are still decent riffles. And if we waste a lot of money for the new standard riffle, it should be a modern one, not something from 1960s...
    The ray for add-ons should be available.

    May be VPA is looking for some rugged 5.56mm / 7.62M43 Rifle, With good relation with IMI Galil seems to be the best option as it shared same reliability as an AK..

    This plant would manufacture Israel's the AS advanced version of the Galil infantry rifle.
    The article meant ACE version of Galil Rifle..
