ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 10, 2009) Sailors assigned to the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Legare (WMEC 912), conduct small boat training in a 25-foot over-the-horizon boat. SAN DIEGO (July 10, 2009) Manuel Rivadeneira, commanding officer of Peruvian submarine BAP (Buque Armada Peruana) Arica (SS-36), stands watch with Peruvian sailors as they begin their journey home from Naval Base Point Loma. Arica was participating in the Diesel Electric Submarine Initiative with the U.S. Navy.
