well what kind of cover is it the current dutch DPM or the older one. Personally I have a real PASGT and both fit fine with a cateye band keeping in place. You might have a few small size issues but nothing thats worth spending 90 euros
Hi,
I, as many airsofters do, own a PASGT Replica. I wear a Dutch DPM uniform and I was looking for a helmet cover to complete it, also, my helmets plastic shines a little so on a sunny day, it could give away my position so I chose a matt cover.
I was looking around for one and I found one on Aprilorange.nl. I sent for the order, in Medium size and I asked him if there are any complications in size, he said it will not fit... I asked him to cancel the order and I asked him why. He said that it is not a size issue but a design issue, he said that the Schuberth M95 which it is supposed to fit has a rubber rim around it and it needs it to fit???? My PASGT (I dont know about other ones but it seems to be the same) has a rubber rim around the bottom of it. He said "Can I intrest you in a surplus M95 kevlar?" now the thing I want to know is:
Is he trying to get me to spend 90 Euros on a heavy Kevlar helmet I don't need or has he got a genuine point and there is an issue that needs the M95 to resolve???
I would like a more informed opinion from the 3rd party. Thanks!
/Josh
