HQ PLT accompanied us on this mission and showed up with the SASR on their MRAP. They claimed they'd be doing vehicle check points (VCPs) and would use it as the final escalation measure (hence all the flares in the ammo can,) completely unnecessary (IMHO) but it did happen.

It was not really intended for that but we had an unassigned SASR and they choose to do this.

A small tiger is confiscated by Police in Dalian, Shandong province of China. Residents called the police when they saw a man "walking a tiger", which scared off all the other pet dogs, in a small suburb in Dalian. The police found the tiger but can't find the man. The small tiger will be sent to the local zoo later. Tiger is listed as an extremely endangered species in China.
