Zdar chlapi, anybody knows polish tactical clothing company called "Helikon"? Any opinions about it? Thanks in advance...
I bought a jacket of their production. an improved version of a british smock.
and I can honestly say it is the best jacket i have ever had. very comfortable, with lots of small improvements like a detachable hood with a wire (like the one in the m65 parka), fasteners in the armholes, lots of pockets (also big pockets inside)...
the fabric could maybe be a little better (I'm talking about the black jacket. later I've seen the same model in green made from a ripstop fabric)

When I was in Kabul local Afghans had very good things to say about the deployed Polish soldiers. Word is they conduct their operations in such a way that US troops should be taking down some notes. Good on them, Afghans say thank you for your service.
So are we actually using our RPG's or we are keeping them "just in case" in armoury at base? I can't find them on any photo from patrols, and it makes me wonder...
The Patria AMV is certainly there in force with the Polish military.
What's the overall opinion of the Patria AMV?
