Trust your feelings, if it doesn’t feel right it probably isn't.

Yes, everything I have read and heard from Polish and Slovenian soldiers have been very positive. Definitely hope the U.S. Marines give them serious consideration. If I could pick any APC right now I'd definitely go with the KTO Rosomak.

    What variants are deployed?

As far as I know, there are 3 basic variants in Afghanistan right know:
    -with Hitfist Turret
-with "wiezo-obrotnica" (I can't find English word for this - small open turret with machine gun)

    -medical evacuation vehicle

But this is more complicated - there are some minor differences in internals of different batches. Ones produced in Poland differs in some details and components from "Rosomak" produced in Finland (or assembled in Poland from Finish elements).

That`s Rosomak with OSS-M (Opancerzone Stanowisko Strzeleckie-Małe, Armoured Open Turret-Small/Armoured Weapon Station-Small)- version for Polish Military Contingent in Chad.

In Afghanistan we have Rosomak M3 with OSS-D (Opancerzone Stanowisko Strzeleckie-Duże, Armoured Open Turret-Large/Armoured Weapon Station-Large). OSS-D as opposed to OSS-M is controlled electrically and it offers higher ballistic protection level. And of course it`s bigger than OSS-M

    Rosomak M3 with OSS-D:

Thanks Marlowe for clarification - I was not aware, that Chad Contingent Rosomak's have completely other turret/cupola/whatever it is, then Afghan ones.

    cupola?
    Hm, can be.

    Lady GAGA haha
What about version of Rosomak's we will have command (maybe in 2010 ?), recovery, recon, with RAK 120 mm morter (Polish AMOS).
Polish Rosomak's will have LASSO anti RPG armor (first are already in afghanistan).
AFAIK in future all OSS-D and OSS-M will be replaced by RCWS
