    hello cockney

Just my point of view but i now would like them to convert queenie first to CATOBAR if she is not delayed to much, obviously it would delay POW a wee bit aswell, theres pros & cons but ... must be a bit annoying for you when your set up expecting a lift & it doesnt happen, like most things its the waiting thats frustrating !!!

Well just had a look and it's too difficult to say. The weather is making it hard to see, however the facts are these:- the hooks have been detached and are on the opposite of the crane. The crane is at the front of the drydock still and lastly I can't see a shiny new sponson sticking out from the front of CB03.

So it's one of two things I'm afraid, they've detached from the sponson temporarily, possibly due to the cold weather, or it's on and my usual viewpoint is at still too much of angle for me to see it.

Is the weather bad enough up there to warrant the sponson being detached from the crane?

It was minus 5 overnight not windy though. I don't know enough about cranes to know what their operating limits are in freezing conditions.

Like I say there is a good chance its on and it's just too hard for me to see. What's happening on twitter have they said anything yet?

Scrap that, the crane has just moved to the back of the drydock, so it must be on.

If the weather in the East of Scotland is anything like it is in the west it’s the best weather we have had in 4 months!
