The marching is just plain scary. All the same height, all the same size. Dont get me wrong, done plenty of parades, but this looks like 3000 energizer bunnies doing what the wee program tells them to do.

We all know that the Army can march, the Navy can walk in a group and the Air Force can mill around looking good. But those Chinese, its almost mesmerizing.

They aren't really military, they cant be!?

Please, someone post a torrent of the whole manifestation in good quality (I asked that for Russia Parade and a friend here promptly supplied it!)

    Many thanks

If the short skirts, sheer stockings and thigh-high boots on those PLA woogies was supposed to make me fear their combined communist might then I'm sorry, because my reaction was quite the opposite. It only made me want to be their naughty, capitalist, Yankee f*ck puppet.

Their recruits will first spend substantial time learming marching in basic training.

Then they spend another few months training specifically for this parade

So yes, it is possible they are like energizer bunnies

Also can't help but notice that

The regular units who spent months training marched better than the Attack of the Clones,

but the performance of the Special Forces in the marching is the worst

    Implications?

    Sharp eyes

I read one report about the Special Forces training for parade. It said the daily training of Special Forces is totally different with training for parade. Besides they barely did march training before. So the soldiers had very hard time in the camp. LOL, look like they still didn't get it right this time.
