    Default The United States Marine Corps

    [FONT=Verdana] I have been fascinated by the United States Marine Corps for a number of years now and there have been some really good Photos on here of the USMC but as far as I can tell there is no thread just for USMC photos on here so thought I would start one.[/FONT]

    Now why didn't I think of this!? Excellent initiative vor033. This thread looks promising, and I'm going to call this my new home. All we need now is a Marine moderator to keep this place policed-up and squared away.

    Default USMC Exercise Bright Star 2009

    [FONT=&quot][FONT=Verdana][SIZE=2]Marines from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, during an amphibious assault demonstration conducted as part of Bright Star 2009 in Egypt Oct. 12, 2009. The multi-national exercise is designed to improve readiness, interoperability, strengthen the military and professional relationships among U.S., Egyptian and participating forces. Bright Star is conducted by U.S. Central Command and held every two years. Elements of the 22nd MEU are currently are participating in the multi-national exercise while serving as the theatre reserve force for U.S. Central Command[/SIZE][/FONT].
