two photos of sayeret matkal or shaldag operators in baal bek hospital, lebanon during operation sharp knife during 2006 lebanon war. although it's a hospital, note AK47 found hidden in patient file cabinet.
The aftermath of Operation Isotope (airplane hostage rescue) in 1972. SM boarded the airplane disguised as mechanics (hence the white coveralls). The operative with the handgun is the SM team leader Ehud Barak. They were only armed with handguns - back then counter-terrorism was in its infant stages.
