Default The United States Army - Thread

I have been searching this site for a Thread on the US Army, and although I have found ones for the Various US Special Forces along with Rangers and Airborne units I haven’t found a US Army thread with the US Army seemingly a bit of an unsung hero in the Operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, let alone the rest of the world

Anyway, as loads of really good photos of the United States Army turn up all over the place so thought it was time we had an Official Thread. This Thread is for the United States Soldiers, the Infantrymen, and the Tankers and Engineers etc.

FAO – Mods, if I am wrong in this please merge the thread in anyway you see fit, thanks

    Photos - Info

U.S soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division return fire after their patrol in the Pech Valley of Afghanistan's Kunar province was ambushed by Taliban fighters Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009.

Great pictures and great thread idea, but this has been tried many times before and always failed at about page 2 because of the daily threads

I don't think the Army is really an "unsung hero" because it got a lot of good media attention since the start of the two wars.
