Wow so CA is now humping with grunts to deliver swing sets? WTF? Obviously they are with the 173rd as direct support. The Infantry commander of the day, moment, second / SMART GUY in charge must be now running the CA taskers and dictating hearts & minds Ops. Just wonderful and so very effective!

I have a question about 10th Mountain Division, do they actually have specialized training and fulfill any extra roles as opposed to regular infantry such as 1st ID?

I understand they have the 'Mountain' tab but is that just for historic purposes, in the same way the 101st have the Airborne tab even though they're air assault now? Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

    cheers

Hi Mate, as far as i am aware its just a Traditional Tab and the Division though a 'Light Infantry' Division doesnt do any specific Mountain warfare training other than the training undertaken any other Light Infantry Division might do. I might be totally wrong in this, and hopefully someone else will be able to add more info.
