Thanks Facundo. I guess you can't go wrong with cheap and reliable weapons that are already in stock, but I would believe these weapons should be coming close to their useful life...how old are the Argentine FALs? I also don't think the soldiers would complain on having a lighter and more manageable assault rifle. I just saw that FNH is submitting the FNAC for the US AIC requirement.

    Wouldn't be a bad choice....

The subject is the situation of the Argentine armed forces is very bad in the budget issue. And the little money available to spend looking for it.

With a lot of FN FAL stored on other things like priority on the issue of mobility.

There are many Opcions but no money

The FAL works fine no need to replace it, all the spare parts are available trought the FM factory since they manufacture under license the rifle, the only branch in wich is standarized the 5.56mm is the Marines, but they still need 7.62mm ammo for the GMPG FN-mag so...

The Marines used M-16 A-2 in their front line units, although there are some who still use the FN FAL.

Here are hints photos of Marine Corps Battalion 2 in exercises last year, look Bofors AT-4

Very nice, too bad that the forum configuration makes the pictures so small.

Yes, VCTP with the funky remote control machine gun fitted in the rear.

Just wanted to say the TAM is cool. If we never get heavy tanks I'd settle for some of those.
