It's a shame the ARA didn't send a Meko or two to the Review in 2005, I know they would have been more than welcome. (yes - i'm serious)

I would like to see the Argentine's take a more active role militarily in Latin America. With the Brazilians and other countries we can actually do some good in our part of the region aswell as help in Africa and other areas.Yes I'm aware of Argentine UN Peace keepers and the like but a much more active role would be welcomed. The Argentine Militarily forces need to regain that. They shouldn't let some tin pot dictator take that away from them.

Happy Slapper I totally agree Argentina is home to a very large Anglo-Saxon population aswell as Scottish.

Yeah I agree. Past history aside, it would've been a great opportunity to show the flag with something besides the Libertad sailing ship.

They could cut back on the total personnel needed and make up for it with the enhanced effectiveness of the new equipment.

On a side note, it's getting close to replacing the FAL, Argentina should pay attention to what's happening around the world and make a smart purchase that, like the FAL, will help them have a rifle for the next 30 years or more. You have to hand it to Argentina, when they made weapon purchases, even with the limited funds, they did make smart purchases.

Maybe Arg. can piggyback on Brazil's upgrade of their FAL's.

Air force Skyhawk with weird camo scheme. I've never seen this scheme before.
After the Malvinas/Falklands War, the air force tried different camo schemes, applied to single aircrafts. This is one example.
