    Unhappy Sad News

An IA-58 Pucara crashed today in an accident in Santa Fe Province, Argentina.
The pilot, 28, died right after ejection, because (and as far as it´s being informed so far) the plane was inverted at the time he ejected.

    RIP

    (picture from radioamanecer.com)

Terrible news The pilot was Mariano Forgit, 28 and the news online say he was an experienced pilot.

EDIT: apparently he was able to eject but suffered fatal injuries from landing and getting tangled on electrical lines. What a tragedy.

First time I've ever seen this picture, since shots of the Argentine Martin bombers are pretty rare. Here is one with Peron inspecting an airbase.

I haven't resorted to insults, let's see if you can do the same.
I understand your frustration about the 'Invincible fantasy', but you're confusing two seperate issues. Invincible was not sunk, not even damaged... a fact of utmost clarity to all but the most die-hard malvinist.
There were several attempted attacks on the carrier groups. This is also a fact, though none were successful. The ships on point did their job, downing half the attackers and sending the others home.

    Congrats !

Here there´s a nice video with different images from excercises performed mostly by infantry. Hoping it´s not a repost, here you have it; enjoy:

(there´s a very brief reference to the 1982 war at the end, but I think there shouldn´t be a problem with that)
