    ^^^^
I remember transporting these exact aircraft (Former USMC) from Japan to NAS Alameda on the USS Carl Vinson.

BTW: The USS Lincoln will be changing homeports to Norfolk from Seattle.
The ARA may have a chance of CQ when she rounds the horn.

With the proper weaponry, they would still be a quite effective air-to-ground platfomr; just keep in mind what this boys did to the Guepards ...
However, we keep them dropping dumb bombs and hoping they will be (WVR only) "fighters".

Shooting the 75mm Bofors light gun, this cannon is still in use for training purposes in some mountain artillery groups, 20 of them along with 2000 rounds of ammunition were donated to Paraguay in 2009.

Interesante Facundo, seems to me that always Cristina give the Prefectura and Gendarmeria the new toys and the FAA and ARA are the "poor" older brothers in the armed forces family.

Hispano HS831, ( also called Oerlikon KCB) 30mm antiaircraft gun, this is a weapon you dont see very often in land aplications, Argentina is one of the few buyers of this system.

Check out the Argentine FAS-1500 program which probably incorporates some lessons learned from the Condor program. This missile will reach a height of 350km and carry a payload of 200kg.
