Not to mention that they almost rammed the barrel in the NCO's mouth! I wonder what was said when the cameras were not rolling...

no more stupids thing likes "we will fight the yankee imperilism with Bolivar`s sword" or "the imperilst boot never will step again in our sacred soil" most of the frases are adaptations of cuban slongans

much of that messages are maked by the civlian personel of the bases, most of them extremist minions of the political arm of the goverment, i very sad for the situation the change of uniforms the "reservist" and the ideologies are making my army a real cra...

Those pics were taken during Bastion 2004. I liked the Tropas Especiales camo, very effective in the Cuban countryland. I even talked to a member during a visit to Havana, trying to secure a sample, but it was impossible. The man didn't even allow me to take a picture of him in his camo fatigues. Since it was a very bulky black soldier, I decided not to insist, for fear he would kick my sorry ass right there.

I wonder if the Cuban high commands know that armored vests exist?

It looks to me as if the army is still living in the 60s and 70s. They would probally get steam-rolled by most conventional forces today.
