    Yeah, its easy to make half assed guesstimates in the internet, especially when only source you have is the anti-Cuban websites of the Cuban Americans, that are utter BS. However if somebody had REAL facts, id be more than happy to hear about them.

    The Taliban is an insurgent army. The Cuban army is not. They have boats, aircraft, and tanks, etc.

    Yes, the Taliban obviously fight hard. But also look at their casualty rates. We've killed over 23,000 of them in A-stan while the technology-ridden coalition has lost around 1500 guys in total. One of the main reasons the Taliban can continue on is because they have waves of non-Afghans coming in from over the border all looking to get a piece of the US and Allied militaries. They are religiously fueled and ready to die immedietly. Cuba is not a very large place and it is isolated. I do not presume that a country such as Cuba can muster the zeal that we see in the hearts of Islamic militants.

    This info was confirmed by a cuban friend but i'll try to obtain more
