You bet yah! Time to overthrow the Castro Regime and insert another leader, that will in the end turn as atrocious as the previous ones!
No, in all seriousness, I want to buy the Cuban Military Uniform because I find it so beautiful. I love Olive Drab and the Cuban Uniform looks so neat. Also, I want to buy a new coat for the cold weather here in Sweden, so I was wondering what the name of the jackets are and the name of the coat that Che wears. I love Cuba more than any other country on this planet, which is strange because I've never visited it. But I will soon travel there so this will be a good opportunity to ask a soldier or a government official if I can buy one from perhaps a military surplus store (I know, Cuba probably doesn't have any surplus material of any sort, the economy is not that swell at the moment.)
Let us continue with this nice thread and keep it clean.

A Chinese navy hospital ship called the Peace Ark sailed on Friday into Havana Bay in Cuba, reflecting good relations between the communist allies and China's expanding global presence.
The 580-foot (178 meters) ship was met by Cuban naval officials in a low-profile arrival ceremony that international media were not invited to attend.
Chinese sailors lined the decks of the white vessel, which has red crosses painted on its side, as it entered the historic bay of the Cuban capital and was guided by tugboats into port. It flew Cuban and Chinese flags from its mast.
sorry if this is a repost cuban army 1950s
The trip is China's first operational naval mission to the Caribbean Sea, according to the blog of U.S. Naval War College professor Andrew Erickson.
According to Cuban news agency Prensa Latina and Chinese news reports, the Peace Ark will stay in Cuba until Wednesday, then sail to Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Costa Rica in a 100-day voyage known as "Harmonious Mission 2011."
Cuba owes several billion dollars to China, and earlier this year the two governments signed a series of bilateral accords that will increase Chinese participation on Cuban onshore and offshore oil exploration and in other areas of Cuban life.
The two governments are negotiating a deal for China to lead a $6 billion refurbishment of a refinery in Cienfuegos on Cuba's southern coast, with Venezuela providing financial backing for the project.

Hello raven85 and welcome abroad!
thanks also for this nice and rare pictures. Are these ships built recently or i'm wrong? i think it's the first time that i see.
Last pic about this SF branch of MININT is outstanding. You know that there is very little information about this special group and are also a few photos available.
The correct name is GRUPO TACTICO ESPECIAL (GTE) MININT and, from the few info I have, this group is one of the best trained and specializes in hostage rescue. The practical exercises are held mainly at airports.
some pics about that:

Hi Pride.
those boats are built in Cuba and they have a few years now, their mission is mainly pursue rapids boats who come from the US to pick up ppl; and from the SF group i know that the MININT has right now 4 SF groups, 1 from de DSE or departamento de seguridad del estado (state security or something like that), other from SEPSA (the SF group from SEPSA was the 1 who did the rescue mission a few years ago in the international airport Jose Marti, there is a funny history about this group, before they enter the plane the trow some gas but the communication system they have create a like a hole in the gas mask and the first members of the group who enter the plane suffer the effect off the gas; the other 2 groups are part of the Brigada Especial (special brigade) from the PNR (national police)....
PD: sry about my english i'm still learning![]()
