Good news fellas!! Seems that Castro jr. discussed with V.Putin some military deals including new tanks shipments submarines and other military stuff http://rtunoticias.com/index.php/not...castro-y-putin take a look!! I think probably Cuba is gonna buy some upgraded t-72 version like the BV like Venezuela did! So what do you think think guys?

Question: on the photos is clearly visible the name Rio Damuji (also the name of the class), so there is an actual known name for the other operative unit? This second one will carry the same name or a new one? I remember that the 3 Koni frigates had individual names.

there are three units, they each have individual names and have individual numbers, 392 located in Cienfuegos , idk the name, 391 Rio Damuji is located in Havana Harbor as well as 390 Rio Jatibonico which is the only one that was functional as of july and august of 2012 which is when I took all the pictures

Does anyone have Cuban pics from the revolution, Bay of Pigs, or the Missile Crisis? I have a couple, but I'd like to see more. Uniforms, weapons and vehicles from '59-'63 would all be welcome.

Santiago de Cuba, Mar 11 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Raul Castro Ruz led today the commemoration on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the founding of the Frank Pais Second Eastern Front, in the homonymous municipality in the eastern mountains.

The main speech of political activity and military parade were ****ounced by Vice President Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, member of the Second Front and honored on this occasion as a Hero of the Republic and with the Playa Giron (Bay of Pig) Order.
