Thread: USMC look

    Default USMC look

Hey, looking to make myself a loadout similar to what the Marines are using. I have both desert and woodland MARPAT BDUs. TM M4 and M16A2. What else do I need? Any help is appreciated.

Well said Spartan, as well as a MOLLE Fightling Load Carrier, or just attatch the pouches to the interceptor. If you win the lottery upgrade your a2 to an a4 w/ flatop and rails and an ACOG.

Suppliers for the Interceptor? Helmet and Pouches are easy to get, just the question of moolah.

@bishop - in the process of adquiring funds to upgrade.
Donations anyone? lol (so I won't dig a hole in my savings)

Cannot purchase from Ebay, I was scammed $400 once and that was enough for my parents to literally ban me from buying off of Ebay.

@Spartan: I am guessing a small will not fit my head as it is 23" around. If the plastic one will fit me then sure I will consider it.

@stuntman: Getting the BDUs was tough because of the cost of them. I just finished patching up that chunk I took out of my savings for it.

Possible retailers where I can attain the Interceptor Armor, be it replica or the real thing w/out the plates?

Are there such things? I didn't know.
And you don't really need them, the visual difference is often small, and the vest is heavy enough without them

Yeah I used cardboard from work, and it worked great. Gives the stiff look, and is very lightwieght.

Do they wear the coyote Interceptors with woodland MARPAT or even older issue basic woodland camo? Most pictures I've seen, Marines were sill using woodland Interceptors even with their desert camo. The few coyote ones that I have seen were worn with desert camo, but I could see them using them with woodland MARPAT, too.
