I think since they are in the middle of issuing out new uniforms, almost any combo would be somewhat accurate...

I believe that one on ebay is a repro cover with nothing inside it.

You want to look like a Marine, join the Corps. Stop faking the funk!

Well, thank you for the useful comment. I think I will give up my fullfilling life as a PhD student to embrace my hobby completely. I've really always wanted to be a Marine, but because of my low self image, never thought that I could do it. So, I hid my shame in my books for 10 years of higher education, playing Airsoft to keep some small piece of my life long dream. But now, since a complete stranger on an internet chat room has told me that I should join the Core, I am ready to throw that all away and sign up. Thank you, thank you, thank you ...

... feel like the ******* that you are yet?

Oh god , not one of those people again...

But to get to the topic , if I'd have to speculate about the boots I would say either the new ones that are somehow associated with that "coyote brown" - thing , or the same that the Army uses (manufactured by Altama , I think ?).

I believe those are the "new boots" I was talking about , perhaps.

For someone who has 10 years of University studies it's "Corps" not "Core".

Where did you got to school Grenada.

Good catch ... about as relevant as me pointing out that you should put a "?" at the end of a question ... but, my mistake none the less. Point remains that your argument still makes as little sense now as it did when made by the other holier-than-thou folks who came before you.

On topic: you can pick up issue MARPAT boots on Ebay for a lot less than the Matterhorn ones - just have to wait for your size.

You know what, if I wasn't below minimum age, I would join the Corps. Critisize someone only when you have known 'em. I am joining once I am old enough. Until then lemme MilSim.

I thank the people who are willing to help me out w/ suggestions.
I got the Interceptor Replica, PASGT Helmet, both Woodland and Desert MARPAT (real deal). Just need the boots, thanks for the info Catch22, Dalleer, and whoever I missed.

To be fair, just because someone plays airsoft doesn't mean they have no intention to join the military. I don't play it really simply because I personally can't afford weapons like AEG's, but I also plan on joining the USMC once I turn 17 next June.

Seems like a good retailer - lots of positive feedback with relatively few negatives (3,000+ positive vs. 53 negative) - but, as with any high volume Ebay seller, it looks like shipping times are sometimes long (several comments about that) and occasionally some things get mixed up. I would say his English is pretty poor based on some of his comments for buyers, so IF something goes wrong, it may be a pain to deal with. That being said, looks like a good chance things will go well.

He's reliable, I got my Interceptor Replica off him.

Thanks Magua for the info. Are they purchasable?
