by having being born In America .... so the rules state
Why is it that anyone that hasn't been born in America can become a govenor of a state yet can never apply to become president of America
Where is the logic in that .. surely if an outsider wants to become president can question that ...
isn't that thee most bizarre rulling ever ... I for one would love to see Arnie in the hot seat ...
Every state has its own constitution to decide how its own government will be elected and what authority is delegated to each office. Simple as that.
I've heard of that too. But I haven't seen much proof behind it, so it's more pseudohistory. (to me anyway. If you found a book that proves this, I would like to see)
The reason I've heard for the infamous Article II Section 1 Paragraph 5 Clause 1, was because America was very Europhobic when the Constitution was signed. They didn't want a British Lord (or any other European baron) to sail over, run for president, win, and become a puppet for the crown.
But if Arnold does become president, I hardly think he'll be a puppet for Austria. This article could use an update.
No-Yes ... the P of united states and America are the same are they not ???
North America and South America are the names of the continents in the Western Hemisphere.
North America consist of Canada, Mexico and the United States of America.
Arthur St. Clair was born in Scotland and served as President of the Confederation Congress which was the governing body of the United States from 1781 to 1789.Wasnt he the scottish bloke ... that did become president and after that the ruling was formed ????
The Second Continental Congress adopted the current Constitution and system.
I feel as if I'm seriously lacking in Christmas spirit, and this thread and my compulsion to kill you for starting this thread isn't helping. If you want a primer on the Executive Branch of the USA, google the f*cking thing.
