Thank you dude for posting pictures of my former regiment. It's a pleasure to see on the 18th picture ADC SAULNIER... On the 6TH picture, you can see the tattoo on the left hand : the embleme of the regiment and below, the word "ALTOR" on the left shoulder of the guy : a corsican word.

what is your former regiment ? lot of things are worth noticing : silenced famas, famas with strange "PGM" (poignée garde main), G36...
and the tattoo "cut here"

Hé hé hé Very easy.... Second foreigner paratroops regiment (2ème REP)...... The guy get the left hand tattooed with the insigne of the regiment. Maybe the FAMAS has been customized before they left Corsica or they use the weapons of the soldiers of 2ème REI, who were here before them. The G 36 is used by the GCP (free fallers). A lot of things have changed since i left (more than 10 years now...)

You know a lot of légionnaires are tattooed, everywhere on their body, so.....

I think only CPA (Commando Parachutiste de l'Air, airborne commandos) and some special forces.
Infantry uses rifle grenades as you can see on many Astan pics

Thanks, thats why I asked since I only ever see the rifle grenades besides a few pictures every once and awhile. Thanks.

Yup. Paratroopers, Special Forces and Shocktroopers can use whatever they want. HK, Sig, Fal, Colt, etc... Back in the days I made tries with guys from the Genie who were testing different weapons. From the Bull M5 45ACP to the PGM Hecate II. Some specific weapons are better suited for certain type of missions. The anti-terrorists units love the MP5 for example. It's a nice short range weapon.
