Hi all ... sorry but it's not BSPP, it's "Bataillon Sud-Ouest : détachement de pompiers volontaires et professionnels", it's the South-West Battalion , it's an artificial Battalion compose by many men of different SDIS (regional fire service) of South West zone. BSPP is a military unit but those are civilian (depend of interior ministry) ... they don't have FAMAS like BSPP. They are professionals and volunteers (in France 80% of firemen are volunteers, except Paris and Marseilles they are soldiers).
Yay - lots of big boys toys! Just a couple of ID questions - what are the topless camo-netted four-wheelers which look like SAS pinkies? Cut-down G-Wagens? And the Jimny-sized armoured jobs which in some photos are crewed by white uniforms (chasseurs Alpins?) They look like just the thing for commuting on the Périphérique!
