Well, these two women should thank the Yemeni airplane bomber for getting them into this mess.

they should either make a computer do the detection or use something different like the detectors which pick up the odors of explosives
or have same *** do the scans.

But in a way, what would I prefer? Strip search or body scanner? Body scanner. We are living in a age where airlines are huge targets and I have to accept that I will have to put aside these feelings for the greater good.

This scanner would have stopped the Yemeni bomber and it's easy to forget that, and then we'll blame administration for not being tough enough to protect americans. Freedom isn't free.

They can use good old camels for long distance travels if they don't like body scanners.

Can't say I disagree with the Pakistani women all that much. I don't feel all that comfortable having some minimum wage yahoos checking out my wedding tac on the tele. We've come to this though. I guess all I can do is suck in the gut and hope they will give me a 5X7 print of my good side.

I can assure you that the 19 hijackers of 9/11 all had religious reasons to refuse body scans. I dont give a rats ass about "religious reasons". If you do, you're a moron.

Any sensible person cannot risk the lives of hundred people because of religious convictions

The security people are neither close to me nor my doctor - so I don't trust them neither as a person nor as a professional - the gender doesn't change that.
Why would I want to let such a person to invade my privacy?
Next time they'll want to stick a finger up your ass - will you keep on cheering for them and ridicule people who aren't comfortable with that?

to be honest, I hate flying and more so with all the security in place, as much as I hate it, I see it as a necessary evil. I would rather have people chemically tested, but the scanner seems quicker and more efficient.
