Elbe-class Tender
Panavia Tornado
Old Border Guard Huey helicopter
Atlantique at Gatow Luftwaffe Museum
Two of these aircraft are still in service.
Alpha Jet
Former trainer aircraft.
F-4 Phantom
All are being phased out by Eurofighters. The F-4F was brought into service as a temporary aircraft until a time that a newer plane (later the Eurofighter) could be developed.
MAN MULTI ( ? )
Not exactly sure what they are called, but they are made by MAN I think and can perform a variety of tasks. Including the AA configuration. Correct me if I am wrong.
Also I am thinking of joining the Bundeswehr, not sure though.

thanks for links mate (I knew for Afghanistan) but thank you for another link, anway I thought about the pictures of the German army within Germany and not in the peace missions, I think you must admit that if you compare the amount of image and video material of the German army on the internet with other countries, Germany really doesn't have so strong military propaganda machinery like a lot of other countries which post tons of new pictures almost everyday.
But thanks anway,I will try to find some good material for this thread.
Official designation of the basic vehicle would be "Lkw 5/7/10/15 t mil gl", informally also known as the MAN KAT I (as originally there were two mobility categories much like the current MAN HX and MAN SX product lines, but the simpler KAT II went the way of the dodo and was never procured). MULTI is the Bundeswehr designation for the hooklift vehicle (and the overall logistics concept based on various swappable containers/pods for hooklift trucks) only. The MAN mil gl trucks are serving as base vehicles for numerous tasks.
The "AA configuration" shown (Flugabwehrraketensystem Roland Rad (FRR) and the Flugabwehrgefechtsstand Roland (FGR)) is no longer in service.
Nice photos and great thread idea, i will see what i can dig up as well![]()
