Probably a MG-lafette I would imagine. All our other large trucks have a ring mount for MGs.

Even females had to serve during conscription? What was the policy regarding them?

And no, females were never conscripted.

There is no general conscription in germany anymore. It's been replaced last year by a voluntary military service (12-23 months) which is open for women as well.
