As far as I know Germany wanted to deploy two Panzerhaubitzen 2000 to Afghanistan. Are they already operational?

As far as I know Germany wanted to deploy two Panzerhaubitzen 2000 to Afghanistan. Are they already operational?
The DPA reports that one is already in in the camp in Kunduz, but also points out that they will be deployed only in camps, unlike the Dutch did. Too bad, though...
