    Poorly written, in my opinion.

He might be Luftwaffe? They don't usually wear Litzen, but if they are part of a Heeresunit, it might be issued inofficially?
As far as I recall Fähnriche z. S. have the same rank insignia in Flecktarn as Bootsmänner, but with a Star.

Written by an outsider, obviously. More important: not that much bashing in the commentary section

Oberfähnrich zur See without star from on of the two universities of the bundeswehr(as some douchebag Staff Officer once ordered at the academy due to the risk of "hurting" your shoulders while wearing HEAVY PACKS in the field (lmfao). Somehow this transformed into a nonsense selfwritten rule of "no need for stars while wearing BDU (Feldanzug). Basically it´s disorderly behaviour and punishable - as I did in the past.)

Has got a Badge with an "F" for Führugnsdienst (Tätigkeitsabzeichen) and NO! beret so a negative on that "Marinesicherungs" guess. Others are a Paratrooper with rank not seen (but has to be an NCO or a fully comissioned officer cause he IS wearing a maroon beret... if he does and has NO comission as a paratrooper he´s gonna have his ass handed after this makes the round. The guy on the right is a Fähnrich from the Heeresaufklärungstruppe (Army Recce). I can´t really make up my mind about his beret colour. If it´s black (colour of the Heeresaufklärungstruppe) than he better comes up with a good story about how he got his commision and recce training while being at university obviously (rank indicates). If it´s blue than he wears the correct colour for any army officer candidate or uncomissioned officer).

I recently got that whole explanation about what colour is where to wear due to a brief visit by a group of students in my btl and me wondering about them wearing all "our" blue beret... (was intentionally only for Air Force "Infantry" and Naval "Infantry")

Here are a few new videos uploaded on YouTube by the Bundeswehr (German language only I'm afraid):

A couple of CH-53G are getting hooked up and loaded into a cargo ship for transport to Portugal as part of the multinational exercize "Hot Blades":

Surveillance teams (sniper team and UAV team) monitoring activities in the Kosovo:

    "How paratroopers become snipers":

Didn't we have a dedicated thread for videos and pictures of German forces in A-Stan? Help me out, I can't find it!
