    Default Probs with OFP

I've had OFP since it was released. Just this last week, I've upgraded my graphics card from nVidia GeForce 4 MX440 to an ATi Radeon 9600 Pro 256 MB RAM.

I've tested it on my games, and it has made an improvement on all except one; Operation Flashpoint.
Does anyone know why or how to fix it?

Explain a bit more mate, does it make the game worse? such as lag, or slow motion play (some cars have this problem with OFP)
Or generally hasnt made it better looking?

the latter. It hasn't seemed to make it any better looking or perform any better.

Try raising the video settings in the options menu? put them on max, and see how much lag you get.
The card probally won't do much, it's all in the options and how much memory your computer has.

I've raised the settings, and I do get more lag.
I currently have 256 MB RAM, would more RAM make a better difference?

Yes, more RAM, but make sure you buy decent RAM. Theres little point in buying loads of the stuff if its crap.

500 mb DDR-Ram should be working good.

yes but they have all this PC100, PC133, and PC2700. I'm guessing the higher PCnumber, the better?

Also would PC2700 be compatiable with the other RAM I've already got which are PC100?

Depends on what mainboard you're using, but generally higher frequency is better.

OFP is more RAM intensive than gfx intensive - I used to run OFP with a 128mb vid card and 384mb of RAM and it sucked, but when I went to 512mb of ram, it ran much better The more ram (preferrably identical to the ram you already have) the better.
