This is still the infantry dress uniform. Unfortuneatly the dress uniform is almost never user, instead, the army normally uses the crappy blue or black formal jacket.

At 1:03 you can see the dress uniform:

well well according to the regulations , reg soldiers do not wear that uniform, only cadets in the military schools , the one that you mention is "media gala" and this particular one for mounted cadets of the infantry,
in this direct link you will find the current regulations for the mexican army, also this does not reflect the new uniforms or a lot of the new equipment as they have not been published officially http://www.ordenjuridico.gob.mx/Federal/Combo/R-183.pdf , you will find all the uniforms and many more things, cheers!

nope i did not , as for squads killing rebels and that stuff no, we did not have that, it sound like el "chupacabras" an urban tale, perhaps they have assassination squads today, very sad day for democracy in mexico , even murderers should have the benefit of a court of law and not a trigger happy fellow human being that takes on the job of judge and executioner at the same time, and yes i'm very aware of whats going on, and the fact that their victims don't get the benefit of such things , but do we have to be like them? are we not al the same human beings? the environment creates human beings with the qualities of wild animals , but not in mine, i don't believe in that . i don't want to be the victim of the old saying "el que a hierro mata a hierro muere" or in other words "live by the sword, die by the sword" no my friend i want to think that i have an education and a cool head to think with and not emotions that cannot be controlled.

nothing of what you mention I know of, i just don't, i have not live in mexico for over 30 years , and that makes me not a qualified person for such questioning.
