Oh, ok. I do know the army was sent to Chiapas before though, I think it had something to do with rebels.

Really? Well I only found this picture on 2 sites and they were both Mexican-related so I was pretty certain they were. Must be a pretty rare pic or something because I've yet to find it anywhere else. As for the "Regulares", I've looked up some pictures of them and the uniforms seem to match. This reminds me of when I type in "ejercito mexicano" on Google images, the first result that comes up takes you to a website with a picture of Colombian soldiers yet they call them Mexican. People need to get this ***** right.

I was lucky enough to be there this year, and I did notice these new cammo patterns. Seems to me that the new cammo is reserved for special operations units, i.e. Special Forces and Paratroopers, and it comes in three varieties, jungle/forest, desert, and urban warfare. I also noticed that some airforce units were wearing a new blue cammo pattern. Very interesting pattern, I don't think that it was digital, though I didn't get a close up look.

    Hello,

just looking at the great photos on page 2 of the Mexican uniforms of the 1930s- WW2 -1940s (with the adrian helmet).

Anyone know what colour these uniforms were ?

I would assume a light khaki similar to the ones worn by government troops during the revolution ( or ex U S mustard yellow supplied uniforms).

They did have green painted Adrian helmets (see below link), click on cascos 26, "ver ficha".

    http://www.cascoscoleccion.com/mejico/mexico.htm

Although i vaguely recall seeing somewhere that they might have had green or olive green uniforms in the 1930s- WW2.

Never found any colour photos of museum exhibts /militaria of this uniform.

    Pete.
