You forgot the part where loads of zombies where there, a boy was dying and they needed to save him. Not to mention the extra weight and more the AR's would be, and its not like its infinite ammo for it either.

this. it seems like every fricken episode in this season is centered around these dumbass kids... find some little girl scraps and get on with the show already!

I have to say though, I about died of laughter in the last episode with the fat guy. just goes to show the old adage that fat friends give the zombies something to feed on...

Yeah, you're right. It was way smarter to stick with the guns that had five rounds for it. You're a frickin' genius!

You would be so dead, actually the characters remind me of you, it would be like what if you place a group of quakecrys in a van in a zombie-riddled country

We have oil rigs here in Norway, so thats where im heading in the acopolypse. And, yeah i realize they had no ammo for the normal guns either. But, FEMA was filled with zombies. And, they had to save the boy's life.

I watched the first season on netflix this past week. I enjoyed it very much and can't wait for the second season to come to netflix on either streaming or dvd.

They had plenty of time at the CDC to at least grab a couple. Not to mention the seeming abundance of dead soldiers for grabbing some mags for the ARs. And some M2s on the RV...battlewagon anyone?

It would be interesting to see this TV show evolve like the comics do (especially with the settlements etc.)
Although it will probably get either canned after this season or mutilated by horrible drama BS writers.

    Yes it was!

AMC announced today the renewal of “The Walking Dead” for a third season. Season two continues to deliver the strongest telecasts for any drama in basic cable history against Adults 18-49 shattering a basic cable record set nearly 10 years ago for a single drama telecast (“The Dead Zone”).

Im warming up to Shane, he was just one of the gals for most of the show bitching and rolling his eyes and almost crying all the time being bullied by the Queen Bitch and all that, but he is getting his game on. Looking forward to seeing what sort of crap is he going to pull off in the future episodes.

Still, I cant fathom why would anyone go for a night walk in the zombie infested country, sporting flashlights to boot. Its like being a mobile diner with a neon sign.

The way I look at it is why take somethng you probably dont know how to use & mantain. Sure it would be sweet to pimp out the RV with a few heavy weapons but I kinda prefere that the writers have decided to try and keep the survivors 'normal' rather than overnight Rambo's.

(Not wanting to pull up Lao, just using as general refrence for the 'why dont they take XYZ ' argument)

I see your point. At least the 2 LEOs should be using it.
