One thing I wondered, was it the same zombie that mauled Dale, which Carl found in the woods and antagonized enough to follow him to the farm? It seems so to me, or at least Carl thinks he is partly to blame.

Cue ****ty dialogues about who is to blame and Lori holding Carl telling him he did nothing wrong and he'll be just alright, I bet.

All in all though I think the whole bitching and moaning took a bit of a turn for the better. The discussion reminded me of "12 angry men" and really did highlight that in a doomsday scenario you not only struggle with survival on a physical level but a mental one as well.
Now if they would only start to gain some pace and tear a few more zombie heads open..

I'd put Shane at only slightly more dangerous than Dale. Dale was stupidly naive and arrogant (a dangerous combination- good riddance). Shane is a loose cannon who is barely in control of his fear.

Meh...f'k all y'all. Dale was da bomb! He was the only person there without a testosterone/hormonal/kid/feminine crotch problem. The only thing that can save this series now is for Maggie to do some hard core bewb-stimulus-*** scenes with the Asian tampon hunter-gatherer. Hope Shane and Carl get eaten alive by zombies....Lori gets killed fast, by anything or anybody, and Daryll finds an SS uniform to match his bike. I don't have a preference anymore.
