Hunger Games is based off of the book, which hollywood didn't write. Any expecting even half of world war z to be translated so strictly, are simply fools.

Btw, I've just thought about "walking dead in Europe", and wanna see this:
sun is going down
we hear screamings, "wheeeee" from walkers and rare sound of firing
group seems to be crewed
but then-ground starts shaking more and more
sound of horn
and from the corner of road here comes the cavalry
in fullmetal armour both horses and horsemans
and they crashes in to zombies hord and chops their heads by lances&swords
after fight we'll see their living in old fortress and so on.
Damn, I just wanna see something like that
