I am loving that Challenger in the second episode.
It took me almost 12 issues to hate Lori's guts in the comic book.
Didn't like her, but hate? Yeah not until the <spoiler> prison </spoiler> did I learn what a complete bitch she was...but the TV show has shown a whole different aspect to the Shane/Lori cheaters...certainly not a "moment of weakness and fear one time on the road" kind of thing but full blown adultry...and after hearing the little talk in the cop car between Rick and Shane...yeah, this has been going on for a while.
Looking forward to her <spoiler> getting gunned down by the governor's cohorts </spoiler>
I am loving that Challenger in the second episode.
Gotta say it was pretty bad ass seeing the Challenger slide around zombies.
On a side note, I spotted a few flaws in the second episode. The grenade Rick grabs in the tank is a M69 Training Grenade. Though the body of the grenade was green, it can be clearly seen by the blue spoon. Also when Rick enters the department store and has the pistol pointed in his face, you can see that the pistol doesn't have a hammer...
Obviously you're not going to have a live M67 hand grenade. Seeing that they already went through the effort to paint the body of the grenade they could have spent the extra thirty seconds and painted the spoon. It's easy enough to remove the firing pin from a pistol. No one would know the difference, and it would be 100% inert.
For anyone whose sad about it only being 6 episodes, AMC has approved a second season with 13 episodes

No time for love, Dr. Jones. That was Short Round last night.
I'm loving this. Yes, I'm a compulsive zombie apocalypse kind of guy (lots of idiots round were I live would fall in the first wave muhaha), but on its own merit, it's very good so far. As with so many American shows, the editing and production values are through the roof.
I''m loving it too. Not a good show to watch before you go to bed though. The stuff gives me bad dreams.
