    Happy Christmas everybody!

I'm with Hamburg, Germany PD and yesterday one of our handlers with his K9 Miagi rushed to the scene of a knife wielding psycho. Miagi was sent and tried to put him down, which he did successfully. But the perp stabbed him in the head seven times inflicting life threatening injuries to the belgian shepherd. His handler then rushed to rescue his dog from more harm and arrest the perp but was also stabbed in the face. The perp was arrested by arriving reinforcements.

So I wondered if you could include Miagi and his handler in your christmas prayers. Thanks in advance guys and a very merry christmas to you.

variable, according to the Abendblatt both Miagi and your colleague are out of harm's way. Merry Christmas, that was close.

Yup, she lost 20% of sight and still was the best. This was to be her last tour before retiring.
