Very different. SPG's and tank destroyers obviously have a limited arc of fire unless you rotate the entire vehicle. You can run circles around them in a light tank.
Also with an SPG you really need to have light tanks with a decent radio rushing around lighting up targets on the map.
btw does anyone know how i can convert my experience to free experience? i have some on the already fully researched small tanks left which i would like to use on newer tanks
Once you have everything researched, the research button will change to exchange, then you just use the slider. It costs gold to do it though.
SPG's use a top down view once you go in to target mode, you can't actually get out of the view once your in it. TD's were my favorite until I hit the Hetzer.
SPGs are for faggots.
TDs are pretty fun but you really get screwed over easily if no one if watching your back. I'm at the Jagd Panzer right now and like it, the only problem is if I die, I usually come out with only 3-4k profit in credits after the costs of repairs and ammo ($250 per round). I need a million credits to buy the Jagd Panther so I just play with my stug, and do recruit battles with my badass P35t fo the moneyz.

Well I can one-shot every SPG so if I ever get LOS of them they are ****ed. But when I was playing with my lower-tier tanks the asses would always bombard me constantly and take out my tracks.

I've gotten 150 gold every day since I started. You can exchange gold for credits and use gold to buy tanks, special ammo, and so on.
Press Shift.
Shift also switches quickly to zoomed in mode on tanks.
what are the pros of the tank destroyers? heavier gun? increased accuracy?
