You can't. But you can install lighter turret if available, or remove special modules like rammer or (especially heavy) spall liner.
So I keep my tactics as "sneaky bastard comes suddenly on your face". Sadly, cant make much profit with T-44 and 122mm cannon. Too expensive ammo. But waiting in a bush and shooting into viewport and dealing almost 500 points of damage is something that makes warm and fuzzy feeling inside me. And before smoke clears I am away like a phantom.
T-34 seems to be a good regular tank for making money. Even if you lose it. It costs only little over 2000 credits. Profit is normaly from 10000 to 20000.

Once I started to get into tier 7 & 8's I bought the T34 so I wouldn't have to run prem account. It's not bad for making $$ but I've not had an extremely awseome battle in it yet. Over the last month or so I keep getting into battles with some real slackers. I've been stuck for awhile now getting ahead.
I have the T34,****er Max and the Super pershng to kinda help things along. If I run low on silver I use these tanks to get me going well worth the $$.
With the amount of gold that you spent buying those premium tanks you could have easily bought 6 months worth of premium account, which in my opinion would have been more reasonable. Premium account makes the grinds tolerable instead of nightmarish, especially on the higher tiers where you need over 200k exp to get to the next tier.Originally Posted by No_Luck_13

T1E6 you can make ok money just by driving fast and try not to get shot aka. scouting. It actually dont matter does someone use arty or not. Anyways, you get experience and credits by spotting, doing damage and taking flags. Very very addicting game.
So far it seems like its a sniping game but with tanks.
Depends a lot from what type of tanks there are in the field. Scouting and arty makes a good counter move on snipers. With higher tiers game gets better because there is not so much noobs and it is expensive to loose your high tier tank.
Oh, and skip all the UK tanks. You aint going to find much fun from there. Undergunned until 9th Tier heavy tank.. how sad is that. 8th tier heavy has same level cannon as Tiger.

Dafaq. The medium tree was the most fun world of tanks "grind" i have had ever. And whats the problem with having guns with weak dmg? How about you compare penetration and DPM (and all the other stats). And other than damage how is Caernarvon gun in any way comparable to the long 88? And as a Jagdtiger88 user whats wrong with a long 88 at tier 8?
Caernarvon.. total crap. With 105mm cannon it would be ok. With 120mm it would be great! With 20 pounder you have to use "gold" ammo to fight same tier or higher opponents. For size and tier, cannon lacks much needed kick. Tier 8 heavy tank, I would take Is-3 instead of Caernarvon any day. That 120mm cannon in Conqueror is first that has cannon for its tier. With Caernarvon DPM doesnt really matter if you cant penetrate and do any damage. With so slow tank, you hardly can flank anyone.
I have a centurion with the type A and you think the 20-pdr doesn't have enough pen? Not to mention the accuracy lets you hit weakspots. In a hulldown position I can take down US heavies a in hulldown duel.
Indeed am loving the cromwell atm, might not be the best but it is ALLOT of fun and even when i move on to the next i am going to keep on driving the cromwell.
