Who. Cares.
A new poll by the Spanish government released on the eve of Rosh Hashanah in Madrid shows that one in three Spaniards is anti-Semitic, maintaining negative opinions about Jews. Another 46 percent had favorable views of Jews.

I'm willing to bet if they were DNA tested, they're 15th century ancestors were Jews.
Who. Cares.
Well if you put it in context with polls from other countrys about this issue then.... Welll... Is it that bad?
Hang on.
33% are anti-semitic yet 46% are positive? I'd say Spaniards are more pro-Jewish than not, no? Seems to reflect the western world as a whole, which is pretty divided on the issue.
And only 40,000 Jews in Spain? Really? There's roughly that amount in Melbourne, Australia alone.
How about this:
Senior Spanish government officials sought to soften the impact of the poll results, noting that 54 percent of respondents hold negative views toward Muslims. About 1.5 million Muslims live in Spain. .
Dude... you are so f***ed.
I LOLed hard about this one. "No, really, it's not that bad - there are people whom we hate even more."How about this:

We're the largest Greek city outside of Athens, so we have more things to worry about than a mere 40,000 Juice
I would have thought there was more Jews in Spain, however given the antics of the Inquisition and reasonably close proximity to Israel, it comes as no surprise there is not a sizable population of Jews there.
I know, I love it.I LOLed hard about this one. "No, really, it's not that bad - there are people whom we hate even more."
Not intending to offend any Spaniard, but in my personal experience they're not anti-semitic, but simply not PC in their opinions about foreigners and other ethnic groups in general. A friend of mine has a house in El Ejido, spanish family (Andalucia). I stayed there quite a few times, once i found an article in Spiegel about racial riots in El Ejido. Which didn't surprise me. The spaniards i met there, friendly and warm don't know any political correctness about negros, morros etc. If you're from africa, which is pretty much on the other side of the sea in calling distance, you're ****.
Taking the Jews out of this equation and branding them as anti semites is stupid, since the jews are not more or less popular than other minorities.![]()
Who ****ing cares?
You'd get the same results about everywhere, even in Israel.

To add something:
If they took a comparative survey, they would probably find out:
"Jews - more popular than South Americans". I doubt latinos get a 46% positive in spain.
That was another thing i learned there, which surprised me a bit.
Even my Spanish (German born) friend who lived in Madrid last year complained about the south americans in Madrid.
How they look like a bunch of thieves when they sit in the subway speaking loudly. How their antics are frowned upon.
An image ranging between gypsies and arabs, lol.
Lol, so much for political correctness. It gave me the giggles, since it would brand you full born racist anywhere else.
