Laser sight used in early 90's desert storm

Hello,

Does anyone know what laser sights were use by US SOCOM in the early 90s
Desert storm, TFR
The ANPEQ-4 was released after the mid 90's so what was used before?

AN/PAQ-4 (yes substitute A for E) series was used in the 80's for rifles. Not the C version, just 4 series. I looked like a big metal pipe with dials. Manual for it was TM-11-5855-261-10. Was only rated for 100yrds +. A far cry from even cheap laser pointers you can buy in stores today.

It's interesting how long some of these sights have been around. The chick in T2 had an ACOG on her M16.

The Aim 1 laser was around before I was, in the late 90's. Tried a quick google search and didnt find much.

yeah the aimpoint 3000, trijicon acog TA-01 both made in 1989 and used/tested during the panama invasion.
