Yeah that annoyed me as well. Lame.
I also agree with your comment about mining. Seriously, it's just a time waster mini game that has nothing to do with the rest of the game. The character class weapon limitation was lame too, but I always play Soldier anyway, so it didn't bother me as much.

But otherwise I liked ME2 better than ME1.

I pirated Dragon Age II, and have been playing for a few hours now. And, dear lord I'm glad I canceled my pre-order. Stripped down gameplay, recycled maps, piss-poor visuals, huge plotholes, "consolised" user-interface and controlling,...and the list goes on. Oh, and the combat...it's true that the original DA might have been a tad on the slow side, especially for 2h warriors. But, having the heavily armored juggernauts zipping around, doing backflips and cartwheels while juggling 10 knives(is this a circus?) seems a bit over the top. OK, it's not that bad, but that's how it (almost) feels like

It's like Bioware has taken every good thing from DA:O, said; "if it ain't broke, lets brake it anyway" and rushed this dumbed down version of a game to the market to make a quick buck. As a standalone game this could be fine, but it's an insult to call this a sequel to DA:O, even Awakening. It might be in the Dragon Age-universe, but it's not a Dragon Age game.

To get back on the ME-topic, I sure hope Bioware doesn't screw this up as badly as they did with DAII. I don't want "Call of Duty: Operation Mass Effect"...

    There's still hope, though.

Fans complained about Miranda's tactical cleavage for almost a year and BioWare finally decided to offer some more decent reskins.

There's nothing to say against the exhibition of ****ies, but please not in outer space with a surrounding temperature of some 2 degrees.

    Kelvin, that is.

That's why God gave us DSL so we could actually decide in advance if we let EA rape us or not.

Miranda still looks like Michael Jackson though
About the only case where they ever managed to get an animated character look worse than the voice actress

I'd play the English game if I were you. Usually the distributors don't hire professional voice actors for video game dubbing.

    You misunderstood me totally.
I NEVER use a german version
The voice actress for Miranda was used to model her face as well.
She looks far better in reality than the character in game

Yeah, I almost never download demo's anymore, I just download the the whole game "pirate style, yarr" and if I like it I put in an order of a hardcopy, or some digital download deal. Besides, demo's are rare these days anyways.

Demos are worthless, especially when it comes to RPGs with many hours of varying gameplay. They're like movie trailers - designed so you're gonna pay money for more either way.

Miranda looks like a dark-haired Yvonne Strahovski. Can't see the difference.

God gave you **** sucking lips?... so you can decide whether you wanna get raped or not?

I think the changes to Mass Effect were great - nothing to stop me from fun and story (I ignore the mining for the sake of argument).
Changes to Dragon Age as far as I can tell from demo are allright - although Dragon Age 1 wasn't nearly as broken as Mass Effect 1 - main reason to play Bio Ware games are still the stories imho - as long as they don't mess those up they can play around with game mechanics for all I care.
