Things are so messy right now at Bioware forums that Geoff Keighley himself had to create a thread to clarify a lot of things regarding The Final Hours of Mess Effect 3.
I actually really enjoyed Dragon Age.
It was surprisingly difficult, I enjoyed the world and Lore, and the writing was immersive along with the animations.
ME3 has robotic acting, unnatural pauses in dialogue, characters thrown in for no real good reason, and others in there to attract fapping nerds.
Dont get me wrong though, it wasn't a Baldurs Gate.

Garrus Bender seems a bit too real to laugh.
Dragon Age: Origins was one of the best RPGs to come out in recent years. in this day and age, it's insane for a plot based RPG to give you around 100 gameplay hours for 1 playthrough and not only that, allow you to start another playthrough, which could provide you with a very different experince.
The combat was good, balanced and challenging, the RPG elements were satisfying and didn't force you into the good or evil cliche and while the plot itself wasn't paticulary inspiring (a horde of monsters sweeps the land and only you could unite the land and defeat them!!1), the lore and the Dragon Age world, felt very rich.
Bioware used to be my favorite company, but they have fallen very hard.
Im crying from laughter right now

Probably a repost, but yeah, I'm pretty much certain that I'd hate anyone who would want to cut this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=****mcFw_Lk

Me too.
There were some weird things like too large weapons and other inconsistencies (where are the horses for all the carts?) but generally it was a great game world even if the story wasn't too great, and I loved the characters.
I never bought DA2, and I didn't understand what part 2 actually had to do with part 1. Seemed a totally different story from what I read.
One of the big selling points of Bioware games was character/party continuity. They completely dropped the ball with that in DA2 (and the expansion to Origins). And the re-playability factor is decent too. I've played DA:O more times than the ME games for example.
Also Bioware was my #1 publisher for a long time (with the exception of NWN2, which was published by Obsidian anyway). Gotta echo the sentiments that this is no longer the case. Kinda like Creative Assembly after Activision took them over.
from what I've pieced together during the last weeks it seemed it was planned to give the game a proper ending but at some point a few key figures in the staff had their way with it and apparently even parts which were in development never made it into the final game.
Looks like a rush job to me - EA probably didn't give them the necessary time and budget to polish the game and implement a proper finale, thus the choose your favorite color ending, plot holes and a game below many people's expectations.
Edit:
BTW I hope they fire the guy who came up with that briliant idea.LOTS OF SPECULATIONS FROM EVERYONE!!!!!!
