Negative aside, did anyone else catch the Hunt for Red October reference before attacking the geth flagship?
Clunky interface, crappy AI, unnatural dialogue animation, confusing codex with minimal information, space bar does everything (mine doesn't even work) which causes you to get stuck on things, and boring level design is the perfect game play for you?
When Half Life came out, that was amazing game play. ME3? Meh. The only thing going for it is the emotional investment people have (had) with the franchise.
Each to their own!![]()

I really like the gameplay.
Dont care that much about "emotional investment".
Hated my Shepard anyway through ME1 and ME2. Such a douche. The voice acting for the character didnt help of course.
In ME3 I find him to be acceptable.
Anyway, just had tons of fun in the multi player. Would not have expected that, as it is just a little add-on to a single player game.
I just came to realize that of all parts of ME the episode I like most is when you're sent to recruit Okeer on Korlus. That's a nicely designed level! One should think that a guy with brittle bone disease doesn't feel urged to crack his knuckles.
Wouldn't that make you a douche, too?You made "his" choices after all.
That's why the game should be played in English.
You seem to overestimate the impact of decisions like most. And it is more the way he talks, not the decisions. Pretentious may be a word to describe it. Dunno, just annoying. Shepard was by far the worst character in the whole series for me.
And I played in English. The way this guy tries to sound all tough and manly is just so annoying to me. German voice was slightly better. That one was at leats somewhat natural. In ME3 he seems a bit less bad though.
Guess I should have gone for a female Shepard, but that seemed kinda silly to me.
I was just kidding, but I don't know what you mean with that:Down to ME3 you had different choices in every dialogue. You seem to overestimate the impact of decisions like most.
I liked ME for characters and overall story. Sure the story is not something epicly new. I actually liked the reapers before they said oh look giant machines of death to kill you so you won't create giant machines of death to kill you. Can nitpick on the level design on combat on AI that hides behid chesthigh walls infront of you on the wrong side. But can in my case can be forgiven because overall experience was positive and fun (for me mainly because of the characters and choises that impacted).
Am I reading it right? Did someone just sent 400 3-colored cupcakes to BioWare Edmonton as a protest?
Yeah, lets Occupy Bioware in a three-colored tents, leaving three-colored piles of turd behind.

I think the idea is brilliant. Its bound to get some nice media coverage, and also remove the "raging fan" stereotype.
Another nice article about the endings (Replace **** in the link with the obvious word): http://doycetesterman.com/index.php/2012/03/mass-effect-tolkein-and-your-bull****-artistic-process/

I used to feel bad for all the flak BioWare has to take but now... it really seems Mr. Hudson simply brought this upon them.
