Default Any Recommendation for USP Compact

I am looking for an airsoft version of the USP Compact. Are there any recommendations as to which company makes a good one?

Thanks. I've heard good things about the brand too.

I know that another company - KJW - mades a USP Compact, but so far, I've not been very impressed by actual examples. I didn't really like their version of the Beretta M9, so I'm staying away from this brand for my next gun.

If your looking for a USP Compact, get the KSC version, much better quality and detail then KJW.

Had a friend bought a KSC USP compact and go on to put on a metal slide. On the realism and detail department it was outstanding, very nice to hold. With the valve also upgraded to take green gas,the kick and sound of it blasting is very, very strong. The best part, personally, the metal "kling" sound that it made when the slide is cycled manually, like the Mastercard ad says,"priceless."!!
Hope this is useful to you.

I got to test fire one at the opening of Airsoft Armoury store in the UK, very good kick to it using predator gas, it beats the kick on my Glock, which I use Ultra gas with.
    Good feel, good details.
The only problems I've heard about the USP Compact, is that the hop isn't great, the mag doesn't fit to well when topped up to max capacity at 21 bbs, and that the velocity is a little lower then standard.
I did consider getting it, however with the possibility that a full sized USP could be coming soon, I decided to wait for that.

Just be careful of the whole KSC/KWA thing. Some stores claim that KWA is made by KSC in Taiwan. However, there are KSC guns with KCS markings that also say made in Taiwan. WGC lists "KSC (Japan Version)" and "KSC (Taiwan version)" with the latter being cheaper, as well as KWA. I own a KSC SP2009 HW that is the Taiwan version and the quality is good, not as tight as the Japan version, but close. KWA guns have lower quality standards.

While the KSC USP Compact has received great reviews, there have been several complaints about the KWA USP Compact. So, make sure that you verify that the USP you are buying is, in fact, a KSC AND not a KWA (need both, because, for example, Airsoft Atlanta will tell you that their KWA's are KSC's).

KSC USP Compact is a great gun. It does have some shortfalls, but overall its great. The inner barrel is short, but I am guessing you want the compact for a reason so that is probably not a big deal. The recoil is crisp and the action is nice and smooth. The trades are pretty good, but the metal slides that are out are definitely possessed of better quality trades.

Shooting wise, we compared one to my old (and very well used) TM M9 Tactical Master. Both using duster gas. With .25gram BBs they shot the same range but I could get more accuracy. With .20 grams, the TM outshot the KSC. But the inner barrel is rather short as I mentioned.

Overall though I have to give it two thumbs up. The quality is good, it fires nice, is a very fieldable pistol, and hell the USP has a huge "cool factor". Another nice thing is the mag....no open spring in the front, so dropping a mag is less of an issue...well, getting dirt in a dropped mag anyway.

Thank you for all your help! The information provided so far has been very useful. I'm definitely going with the KSC.

The most popular gun at my club is the Infiniti. Some members have really tricked out guns with holo-sights and compensators. I prefer guns that are used in real life by local law-enforcement officers - the Glock 19 and the USP Compact.

I was seriously considering the Glock 19, but most of the senior members here are into IPSC-style shooting, and are really strict about safety. I would need a safety on my gun if I wanna play with the big boys in their scenarios!

You want kick? run propane and silicon threw your gbb. My glock 23f is a crazy beast to be feared when it has the extended capacity magazines and is on full auto.

Oh ya KSC does make good guns. KJ Works guns are garbage, if your going to spend the money my as well get the best value out of it.

KSC are definitely higher quality than KJW, but WA are even higher than that. However, for their respective price ranges (KJW: below $100, KSC: low to mid $100's, WA: mid to high $100's) they are the best values. KJW aren't as pretty and aren't quite as good, but for a "cheap" GBB, there's no better value.
