Well, in the book Sansa considers just grabbing him and making it so they both fall from the thin wooden bridge... I wish that would of happened or you know Eddard wasn't an idiot and hadn't been so honor bound.
AFAIK episode 8 will contain a pretty big and if they follow the book closely bad-ass battle. Said episode is directed by GRRM himself, so get prepared for something big.Originally Posted by Troubadour
ASOIAF isn´t really about big fights anyway, since the characters and their intrigues and adventures are more important, but seeing some combat in-between is always nice. Unfortunately it feels to me that 10 episodes aren´t enough for one big book, so I´m quite happy that they´ve decided to split the next book into two seasons. This way the different plots will be easier to follow and we´ll see more details.

The shadow assasin part was very well done, I would probably have crapped my pants if I was there
I've read the books, but scenes like the capture of Jaime Lannister or any of the fights really, would be fantastic. Seeing as they have skipped almost all of them.
Don't bother me, I like the series for the acting, setting and plots (politics). Though of course a sword fight now and then is cool.

Yeah, you´re right. Alot of things I´d love to have seen too, were skipped, but I guess that happened because of time and money issues. As I´ve said, 10 episodes just aren´t enough. Atleast the adaption of the next book will be filmed in two seasons.
Btw, I can´t wait for a certain event happening this episode. People raging over Nedds death will find another reason to be very upset.
